The AMG (Americana Music Group) will conduct the worship service this coming Sunday. Remember to invite your friends for a time of musical entertainment and worship. As I stated this past Sunday, our mission is quite unique. We do not hand out tracks or approach individuals with the usual style of evangelism observed in the good ole U.S.A.

In other countries we try to meet them where they live and to do so in China is the most challenging of any country we have ministered in. We have found that most Chinese people love music and know much of America’s older songs. I myself am supposed to perform the John Denver song "Take Me Home Country Roads." It is a favorite among the Chinese and we hope this song as well as the others we have scheduled will open the doors of communication. If the Chinese people engage us with their questions then we are free to respond. If we initiate the subject of Christianity, we could be deported and all would be lost.

The music of AMG has already open the doors to some of China’s most powerful political figures. Some, who once battered the underground church members are now serving to protect them. In this way much more ministry can spread among the Chinese people. We believe this type of ministry will prove more beneficial than any other way we have yet discovered.

Jesus said we were to be the salt of the earth. Salt seasons whatever and wherever it is placed. Too much salt will destroy the taste and all will be discarded. Therefore we as a team of AMG have decided to bring the music that everyone knows and salt it lightly with Praise songs to God. The result may be incomprehensible to many but it is a present reality to those whose lives have been forever changed.

As a point of challenge, it would be something of great interest to discover how many Ark Angels are mentioned in the Bible and what their duties are. I know some believe there to be at least 7 but in the Bible I can find only 3 mentioned. Who are they and what titles / position / duties do they hole or should I rather say "did they hold?"

I hope we are able to explore more of this when I return from China. While I am away Doug Flynn will fill in. Doug is a good friend and has an amazing testimony. I am not sure what message he will present but I have heard him several times and each time it was great. The following Sunday J.D. Miller will more than likely share from the experiences of his recently concluded 2007 AMG Mission Trip to China. I will be staying one more week and then returning to bring the message on the 11th of November.

P.S. Jerry Trammell will be with us on the 18th of November to share a few songs. He was with us last year about this time as I am sure some will remember. Jerry has sung with several groups including "The Cathedral Quartet."

Much is happening at Mt. Zion, don’t you know someone who should be sharing in this with us. Invite your co-workers, neighbors and those you have built relationships with already.
See you and yours soon,

For the Cause of Christ,

Kenny
