Sunday was a great surprise for me. I truly appreciate your gift of the ring which connects with a sermon I once preached from the book of Revelation 2:17 (NIV) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

I usually do not like attention drawn to myself (unless of course I push for it) but everyone made it a great time. I was blown away at the number of you who stayed for the cake and other goodies. I cannot adequately express my gratitude in mere words but please know you are loved and appreciated. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

By the way, I went to the lake but took off the ring before going.

This week I am preaching a revival at Farish Hills Christian Church which is just beyond the Old Ruckerville Road. It is a small, white frame church just off of the road and each night services begin at 7 pm. I am preaching from the Book of Daniel, which is the same series we covered in the early spring.

Don’t forget VBS which begins this Sunday. Check with Nancy Gray if you are able to help in any way. This is one of the biggest things we do each year and if you have never witnessed it first hand, you really need to come out one night. There is always lots of ministry and good excitement that takes place so come on out.

I need some help with the chairs in the gym. The blue ones need to be returned to the storage area under the balcony in the main sanctuary and the new black plastic chairs need to be unpacked. This is the real need at present. We currently have about 100 which still need unpacking.

If you get a chance, please tell Ray Johnson "Thank you" for mowing the grounds each week. Ray attends The First Church of God on Colby but loves to mow Mt. Zion’s grass. He was saved at MZCC many years ago and still has a great love for her. I am sure he will be happy you called, wrote, or just saw him in public and mentioned this.

Look forward to seeing you at VBS!

For the Cause of Christ,

Kenny
